I just wrapped up my first full week of working with clients at Hawthorne Wellness Center, and let me just say that it feels awesome to be back in the neighborhood among the fabulous people of SE several days a week.
Daily Grind... I do still miss.
New Seasons... I so appreciate.
I've been working with a lot of new clients recently that have been referred by their personal trainer and are dealing with issues that are hindering their workouts.
Gua Sha in combination with MFR and deep tissue, focus aimed especially towards muscle attachments, seems to be doing the trick to help work out a lot of the problems that are being presented.
It has been such a rewarding experience to see them making progress, regaining range of motion, and hearing them report that they are able to safely and comfortably push themselves further in their workouts.
I've also been working in collaboration with the fantastic chiropractors at HWC with several people who are recovering from automobile accidents. Unraveling complex whiplash symptoms and persistent muscle spasm resulting from auto accidents can be challenging at times, but I totally love and embrace the challenge.
Having the experience of working with these people is such an honor and inspiration, to be able to participate in and witness their recovery. Hearing that they are able to return to their normal life activities is music to my ears.
